Writing Literary Analysis
Intensive development of writing skills in English as a discipline, specifically literary analysis and criticism. Practice in writing about literature, nonfiction, and film using the basic principles of close reading, formalist attention to literary techniques and structure, and appropriate critical approaches. Prerequisite: junior standing or higher and completion of GE A2. Satisfies general education requirement GWAR.
