CHEM 2300
Foundations of Organic Chemistry
This course is designed to provide students with fundamental knowledge foundational to organic chemistry and how this knowledge applies to all of chemistry. This includes structure and bonding, acids and bases, nomenclature, stereochemistry, alkanes and cycloalkanes, and introduction to mechanisms & reactivity (including nucleophilic substitution and elimination). 150 minutes of lecture/discussion per week.
